Kansas has lost to date over $2B in federal funds, including its own tax-payer money, to states that chose to expand Medicaid under the ACA. Expanding KanCare, our privatized Medicaid program, is a fiscally responsible Kansas-based solution that will cover over 50,000 residents in Kansas 3rd district and in the process, help create jobs, protect rural hospitals and improve the health of Kansans.

With the Senate tackling legislation to shore up ACA marketplaces and the House beginning to work on a budget that aims to cut dollars from Medicaid, Medicare and other safety net programs when they return in September, come find out how these actions will affect KanCare expansion and health care coverage in our state.
