Hold the Line for Our Communities: March & Public Hearings to Stop the Line 3 Pipeline

Start: Thursday, September 28, 2017 4:00 PM

End: Thursday, September 28, 2017 9:00 PM

We the people will stand together to Hold the Line for Our Communities and March to #StopLine3 on the day of the St. Paul public hearing! Our climate, our clean fresh water, our wild rice, and our communities are at risk from this proposed tar sands pipeline expansion.

Rise up and be in the streets! Demand that Governor Dayton and the Public Utilities Commission hold the line against Line 3 and protect our communities. The fossil fuel industry's profits are not more important than our state's abundant natural resources. Water is life!

On September 28, we will hold a rally at the Capitol and then march to the public hearing in downtown St. Paul to make our voices heard! This hearing is part of the FINAL public comment period on Line 3, and our decision makers need to know we will not let this black-snake pipeline poison Minnesota!

Event details:

4:00-5:00pm: Jingle Dress Dancers & Rally at the Capitol
5:00-6:00pm: March to Stop Line 3 from the Capitol to the Public Hearing
6:00-9:00pm: Public Hearing on Line 3 at the St. Paul Intercontinental Hotel, 11 East Kellogg Boulevard

Important note: Can't stay from 6-9pm? You can come to the earlier public hearing (also at the St. Paul Intercontinental Hotel) from 1-4pm and join us for the march after that hearing!
