On behalf of our membership, we would like to invite you to celebrate with us at ACTION United’s 3rd Annual Holiday Party. This event is an opportunity to celebrate the successes our members and allies have had in improving their neighborhoods, our city and state. This year, we will be acknowledging our most active members for recognition.

It has been an exciting and challenging year for ACTION United and we could not have had the success we enjoyed this year without the strong support of our friends and allies. Despite the challenges, we had a number of victories in 2014 around voter awareness, public education, and economic justice. This year, ACTION United has continued as a key player in the PCAPS coalition and our fight to make available great schools for all children.

We have built a huge base of education voters who will mobilize those concerned about education to the polls in November. We're working as a part of a statewide coalition to raise our states ridiculously low minimum wage. Five buses were filled for The People's Climate March in New York City in September. Local Control was passed through City Council and will be on the ballot in the Spring. And finally, we fully expect to have a new Governor taking office in Harrisburg in January!

Please join us as we celebrate our victories from 2014, and get ready for a great 2015! Our Holiday Party will be held on Saturday, December 6th at TWU Local 234. The party will begin at 7pm.
