Holocaust Remembrance Day Vigil
Start: Tuesday, April 18, 2023• 5:00 PM
End: Tuesday, April 18, 2023• 6:00 PM
The United States Congress established the Days of Remembrance as the nation’s annual commemoration of the victims of the Holocaust and created the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum as a permanent living memorial to those victims.
Denying the existence or lying about the facts of the Holocaust is one of the most egregious acts of hatred toward Jews. With this country teetering on the edge of White Nationalist authoritarianism, and anti-Semitism surging in Massachusetts and nationwide, recognizing the horrors the Nazis committed against six million Jews and millions of others becomes increasingly critical.
Concord Indivisible stands against hatred toward all groups, and on April 18, we will hold a Holocaust Remembrance Day Vigil from 5-6 pm in Monument Square. Bring candles and signs, and please join us for this solemn occasion.
