At this event, we will be watching the movie adaptation of How To Blow Up a Pipeline, the book by Andreas Malm that one of our reading groups just finished. Feel free to join, even if you hadn't read the book; the movie very much stands on its own. On it's face, it's about a group of young radicals who decide to strike out against fossil capital and climate change. But on a deeper level, it's about hope in a time of hopelessness, and power in the face of seeming powerlessness. Little Debbies snack cakes will be provided, since that's the food I have in spades. So you can get the bonus experience of experiencing an authentic college diet.
