Join us for our monthly learning session to learn the fundamentals of working with press. We’ll cover practical strategies to help your organization invite media to cover an event or your groups’ response to a breaking news story.

This will be a 101 workshop, so no former experience or training is required! In fact, if you have never worked with press before, this workshop is perfect for you.

Our lead presenters are Dani Marrero Hi, co-founder of Ruido Studios, and Ramiro Gonzalez, founder of Out in the 956.

Based in Mission, Dani Marrero Hi has over 10 years of experience helping organizations work with Spanish and English media. They are the co-founder of Ruido Studios.

Based in Palmview, Ramiro Gonzalez has worked with student media, local press outlets, and nonprofit organizations to share authentic and creative stories about the rgv. He is the founder of out in the 956.
