How to Stop School Closures

Seattle DSA's Working Group SOS – Save Our Schools invites you to our meeting with Jesse Hagopian and Dan Troccoli from the Social Equity Educators, the rank-and-file caucus at that time in Seattle Education Association, who fought against the school closures implemented in Seattle in 2009 that almost all had to be reversed in the years afterward. We will also offer updates on the plans of the school district in 2024 – and our plans on how to fight back.
