Ice Ride 2004 i Karlstad!

Cykla med oss den 4 oktober för att uppmärksamma Arktikens betydelse för världen!

Rundom i världen cyklar människor för Nordpolen den 4 oktober och vi vill vara en del av det hela. Startpunkten är utanför Karlstads stadsbibliotek kl. 14. Vi cyklar från biblioteket längs älven, över Gamla bron, förbi Kroppkärrsjön och Välsviken mot Alsters herrgård.

Där gör vi en paus (cafét har öppet). Efter pausen cyklar vi tillbaka till stan, man kan välja att cykla samma väg som vi cyklade ut, eller tillbaka över Mjölnartorpet och Kronoparken.

• Ta din cykel, din familj, dina vänner och "pimp your bike with something white" för att visa vi är on the Ice Ride.

och så ses vi lördag, den 4 oktober, kl. 14 utanför biblioteket!

The Arctic regulates the world’s climate, while also serving as a home to four million people and amazing animals like the polar bear and walrus.

#IceRide will be a family friendly festival with creative bicycle parades, speeches, concerts and costumes. People across the globe will take to the streets on October 4, to call on decision makers to create an Arctic Sanctuary, and take urgent action on climate change.
