If Not Now Feedback Session

Start: Wednesday, September 30, 2015 7:00 PM

During the Gaza War last summer, protests that started in NYC spread to a dozen cities across the country demanding that our community's leaders stop supporting the war. When a ceasefire was reached and the war ended, we began a 9 month process learning about and analyzing the current movement to end the American Jewish communal support of the Israeli occupation and strategizing about what a movement could look like.

During the month of September we want to present the content we've come up with over the past 9 months to people across the country in house meetings. The meetings will be about 2 hours and will hopefully generate a ton of great feedback for us to incorporate before we go public in November.

We are hoping you can come to the house meeting focused on politically engaged, liberal Jews. It is going to be on September 30thth at Ethan's House from 7 - 9:30. And there will be snacks!

More about If Not Now

If Not Now is a mass social movement working to end the American Jewish communal support of the Israeli occupation through public, symbolic action based in Jewish ritual. Unlike other groups which organize around a solution or a tactic, If Not Now will be organizing our community to come together around a problem: The Occupation.

If Not Now is not another lefty Israel-Palestine 501c3 or institution. If Not Now will be a massive, decentralized liberation movement of unified, autonomous networks of activists across the country (think about Occupy or Black Lives Matter with a 3-year plan from the beginning). Once the movement is launched, there will be no hierarchy, no president and no board. The movement will be in the hands of local groups - in your hands - as it gains momentum and spreads like wildfire.
