Immigration Town Hall House District 66B & 67A

Start: Tuesday, March 11, 2025 6:00 PM

End: Tuesday, March 11, 2025 8:00 PM

Minnesota is home to many of our Asian community members that moved to the US seeking safety, home and a better future for themselves and their family. Whether it's our Hmong community members that moved in 50 years ago or the most recent Karen and Burmese community members that moved here in the last few years. We all deserve to live in a country and state that is free from fear of political retaliation on the basis of our immigrant status. With so many of our fellow Asian community members being targeted and attacked by Immigration Custom Enforcement (ICE), it's important that we show up for each other, know what we can do to protect each other and know what resources are available locally here in Saint Paul.

Which is why Asian American Organizing Project and other local organizations is partnering up with House Representative Liz Lee and House Representative Athena Hollins (both are in the Eastside of Saint Paul) to host a town hall to discuss immigration safety, what practical steps we can take and local resources. So please join us in this crucial conversation with your elected leader so that we may continue to find solutions to protect and keep each other safe.
