Duke Energy has proposed a new methane gas plant near Roxboro, N.C. Members of the public will have the opportunity to share their views on the gas plant at public hearings held by the North Carolina Utilities Commission — the state agency which will decide whether or not to allow Duke to build the gas plant.

Join Appalachian Voices to learn more about the proposed methane gas plant during a workshop on June 5. During this workshop, we’ll share information about the proposed plant and what to expect when attending a public hearing.
