Issa Speaking at Dinner Event

Start: Friday, March 24, 2017 5:00 PM

End: Friday, March 24, 2017 8:30 PM

Darrell Issa will be the keynote speaker at an Annual Meet the Leaders Dinner for the Vista Chamber of Commerce.

Darrell Issa is seen as a friend of business and champion of the local economy. But the question is, where does Issa’s loyalty lay: with Trump or with the local economy? Issa’s appearance at the Vista Chamber of Commerce dinner in Shadowridge this Friday will be the perfect place to test his loyalty since the business community has a huge stake in the outcomes of Trump’s policies.

According to Forbes, “San Diego could very well be ground zero. From construction to tourism to hospitality, industry and labor in the city is fueled in large measure by a group of people who Trump derides as “criminals,” “rapists” or “bad hombres.” While the sudden loss of the undocumented might score political points for Trump, San Diego’s economy would undoubtedly suffer a massive, sudden blow.”

Our suggested focus, in addition to healthcare, is to put Issa’s feet to the fire with signage like:

"Walls are Bad for Business”

“No Trade War with Mexico”

“Mass Deportations Hurt Business”

“Issa: Choose SD Jobs Over Trump”

“Trump/Issa Threaten San Diego Economy”

“Darrell: Tell Trump No Wall, No Tariffs”

“Bans Keep Out People Businesses Need”,

“San Diego - 1st to falter under Trump”

“SD economy will be 1st to falter under Trump”

“San Diego – Ground Zero under Trump”

"San Diego Innovation Builds Bridges Not Walls”

You get the drift!

In addition, if you are in business and have a personal story to tell about how Trump’s policies are affecting your business, please let me know so we can tell your story to the media and encourage an interview with you.
