It's time to take to the streets for our futures!

We know the science. Our planet is heating up. Droughts and famines and heat waves are killing people. Worsened tropical storms are killing people. Wildfires are killing people. If we don't stop it now, it will get far worse.

We know who got us here. Fossil fuel executives have known about climate change for decades. Instead of acting, they spent millions funding fake science to create doubt - enough doubt that they could keep drilling and fracking. They made billions destroying our future, and they knew.

We know what can get us out of this mess. It's going to take bold, immediate, institutional change. It's going to take all of us standing up against ill-gotten fossil fuel money and fighting for a society and a government that prioritizes people over profits.

That's why Sunrise Movement is joining many other partners in the Global Climate Strike, from September 20th - 27th. We're walking out of our schools, our workplaces, and our homes to demand climate justice for everybody.
