Join your letter carrier to stamp out hunger!

Hunger affects roughly 50 million people across the country, including millions of children, senior citizens and veterans. Food bank shelves that filled up over the winter from holiday generosity are often bare by late spring. And food banks are particularly stretched in the summer months serving the millions of children who rely on meal programs that are suspended when school is out.
That’s why this Saturday, May 14, the National Association of Letter Carriers is holding the 24th Annual Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive, the largest one-day food drive in the country! But they need your help.
Participating in the food drive couldn’t be easier. Before your regular mail service on Saturday, May 14, all you need to do is leave bags of nonperishable food items near your mailbox. Letter carriers will pick up the bags and – with the help of retired postal employees and countless volunteers – deliver the bags to local food agencies.
Sign up to let us know that you’ll participate in the food drive, and we’ll send you a reminder to set out your donation!
