Our congressional race is over for now, and RHR is shifting focus to creating more impact locally. Step one, learning more about local government.

John Gettys, an eight year veteran of Rock Hill City Council and local attorney, will join us for a little brush up on the city legislative process. He'll share with us information on both logistics and ways for community members to impact the process. Angela Douglas will speak with us about her experience as a city councilwoman in Chester and about the work of Emerge SC. Lastly, we'll start to brainstorm our own group legislative priorities for our 2017-2018 advocacy platform.
