This is a virtual event
Please join Kairos Center staff and supporters for our next community call on August 17th @8:00pm ET / 7:00pm CT / 5:00pm PT. We will reflect on the significance of the June 18 Mass Poor People’s and Low Wage Workers’ Assembly and Moral March on Washington, talk about how we are responding to current attacks on our rights and dignity, and look ahead to how we can take action together. The Rev. Dr. Liz Theoharis will speak about the Supreme Court’s recent Dobbs decision and Oshara Hayes from the Kansas Poor People’s Campaign will talk about the recent Kansas election and voters' rejection of an amendment to the state constitution that would have repealed abortion rights. Registration is required, and the Zoom call-in info will be emailed upon registering.
**If you or someone you know are in need of ASL interpretation / Spanish translation, please contact Shana East at shana@kairoscenter.org by Friday, August 12th.**
