Please make a call this Tuesday morning, May 1st to help keep Fernando with his wife and three children! RSVP here to let us know you will call and get a reminder that day.

Fernando Carrillo, beloved husband and father of 3, was arrested by ICE after dropping off his youngest daughter at day care in San Jose. He spent close to 6 months in immigration detention. Lourdes, wife of Fernando, tirelessly fought for his freedom, and after gathering larger community support through many different actions, an immigration judge granted Fernando’s release, and he returned home to his family on April 2. However, DHS continues to retaliate, and appealed the judge’s decision, so that now Fernando is still at risk of detention and deportation.

Fernando has his first ICE check-in appointment on May 1 at 3 pm. The Carrillo family fears that he will be re-detained, and calls the larger community to keep ICE in check and to keep watch on May 1.

Call ICE Senior Counsel 415-844-5867

"My name is ___ and I am part of a larger community watching ICE's action as Fernando Carrillo goes to his ICE check-in appointment today. An Immigration Judge granted Fernando relief from removal, and he should not be re-detained or put at risk of deportation again. We keep watch to ensure that Fernando returns safely home to his family in San Jose immediately after his appointment today."
