Kingston Coal Ash Workers TN Supreme Court Hearing
Start: Wednesday, June 01, 2022•10:00 AM

On June 1, join us at the Tennessee Supreme Court in Nashville to support workers who spent years cleaning up the massive Kingston Coal Ash Spill. These workers were denied respirators and other protective gear during the clean up and have since developed cancers, lung diseases, and roughly 60 workers have died. The TN Supreme Court hearing on June 1 could set a precedent for how coal ash injury cases are handled across the country. Join the workers and their families in their fight for justice.
We will gather in the green space next to the court house at 10:30am central time to join hands in a prayer before entering and finding a seat. Please wear black or dark clothing and bring a solemn and respectful presence to the hearing to honor the nearly 60 workers who have died as a result of their exposure to the coal ash.
The hearing will begin at 11:15 am central time.
