KY PPC Moral Powerbuilding

Start: Monday, August 19, 201910:00 AM

End: Monday, August 19, 2019 2:00 PM

Dear Family,
We have much to celebrate from the last year. From a public poor people’s hearing in Lexington last November to a meeting with our governor in February. From the streets of Western Kentucky where we hosted a Truth and Poverty Tour to the halls of congress where a group of Kentuckians participated in a nationwide Moral Congress this summer. We have rolled up our sleeves and spoken truth to power, shifting the moral narrative all across our state.

But as Sweet Honey in the Rock sings, “We who believe in freedom cannot rest until it comes.”

Can we count on you to be at this gathering where we lift up the accomplishments of the past year and their impact on our state, and look forward and build power for the work that lies ahead of us?

The meeting will be at Douglass Boulevard Christian Church located at 2005 Douglass Blvd Louisville, KY 40205.

The meeting is scheduled for 10am-2pm and lunch will be provided.

Please RSVP here so we will have plenty of food!

We look forward to seeing you soon.

Forward Together!
