Labor Lit Drop for Terra Lawson–Remer for County Supervisor

Join us for a Drive-Thru Door Hanger Drop volunteer event to help elect Terra Lawson-Remer as San Diego County Supervisor! We need your help to drop off door hangers - can you join us to empower voters in Escondido?

WHAT: Labor Lit Drop for Terra Lawson–Remer for County Supervisor

WHY: Terra Lawson-Remer supports labor, working families, and will fight to create more good-paying local construction jobs and apprenticeship opportunities.

WHEN: Saturday, August 22 at 8:00AM

WHERE: Grove Park. 745 N Ash Street, Escondido, CA 92026

WHAT: Volunteers will drive into the Grove Park lot and receive their packets of addresses, door hangers and maps. Volunteers should wear comfortable walking shoes and a mask for approaching households. We will not be knocking on doors. Please download "PDI" to your phone - the app helps expedite and streamline your volunteer experience.

ADDITIONAL INFO:

  • Team Terra volunteers wearing masks will be stationed in the parking lot at Grove Park in Escondido (map) ready to hand you your instructions and materials through your car window.

  • You will be dropping off (1) a Door Hanger with information about Terra at every door. Please skip the house if someone is in the yard.

  • You will find the addresses for our targeted households by using either (A) our PDI Mobile Connect canvassing app or (B) a printed walk sheet. If you are comfortable using a smartphone, we highly recommend downloading the app which has a map feature that makes canvassing much more efficient.

  • If you choose to use the app, we recommend downloading ahead of time. Click HERE download the app for an iPhone, to download the app for an Android, click HERE. We will hand you your app login email and password information upon arrival at Grove Park.

  • As you approach a voter's door, you are representing the campaign. You must cover your nose and mouth with your mask when walking on a voter’s property. If you refuse or are unable to do so, we cannot allow you to volunteer for this activity. We appreciate your support and encourage you to join one of our other volunteer activities.

  • Mask (Required)
  • Gloves (optional)
  • Comfortable walking shoes.
  • Water + a snack.
  • A pen (if you choose to use the printed sheets).
  • A fully-charged phone.
