Join us as we kickoff our first Racial & Economic Justice workshop, "Labor of Love" with our REJ Manager, Desteni Rivers and Co-Executive Director, Courtney Anika.
Our racial and economic justice programming empowers communities to dismantle systemic inequalities and build a more equitable world. We are dedicated to amplifying Black liberation by championing transformative policies and initiatives that address the unique challenges faced by Black communities through grassroots activism, community-driven economic development, equitable access to resources to ensure that every individual has the opportunity to thrive.
Come honor this year’s theme of Black History Month, “African Americans and Labor” with Soul 2 Soul Sisters. During this workshop, we will dive deep to explore and honor the ways in which Black Beloveds’ labor has been exploited, undervalued and how it ultimately moved and shaped our country and communities. We will also strategize and provide tangible ways to organize and honor the labor of our ancestors and Black Beloveds of today.
Register today and join us online on February 23rd from 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm MT.
