Learn about redistricting reform with Fair Districts PA

Start: Wednesday, February 22, 2017 7:00 PM

End: Wednesday, February 22, 2017 8:30 PM

Wednesday, February 22, from 7 to 8:30 PM, Fair Districts PA representative, Sue Broughton, will present a program explaining how Pennsylvania’s process of drawing legislative district boundaries allows politicians to pick their voters rather than voters picking their representatives. This is gerrymandering and Pennsylvania has it bad. She will explain the proposed changes to Pennsylvania's redistricting process that would take control of that process out of the hands of political parties and put it in the hands of an independent, non-partisan, citizens’ commission.

This event is part of a church Faith and Action series, but is open to anyone whether or not a member of the church.  (There is a pot-luck dinner at 6 PM, preceding the presentation. All are welcome but participation is not required.)

Come learn more and be part of the movement to end gerrymandering in Pennsylvania.
