Learning Thursdays is back for November - this month we'll be looking at Race, Power and Privilege from a community organising perspective.

For anyone who would like an introduction to community organising, Citizens UK and our training, and would like to learn more about these topics, join us for our Learning for Leaders session, on 12th November 16:00-17:15.

With the Black Lives Matter protests this summer, maybe you've heard the term 'privilege' being used and wondered what it meant, or maybe you know what it means and want to explore what to do about it. This session will look at the concept of privilege, where it comes from and what it means, and will explore it in relation to community organising and the definition of power as the ability to act.
