We want to show our support and help elect Cate James Hodges to the Stroud District Council in the May 1st by-election in the Central Ward. Cate almost won this seat in the election last year and, with her experience and enthusiasm, she is a strong candidate to win. At 20, she will be the youngest Councillor and will bring an important perspective and voice to local government.

We will meet for some canvassing and literature distribution before the monthly membership meeting and hope to cover the streets around the Stroud High Street. Then stick around for some refreshments and hear about the exciting campaigns from candidates and organisers for the County Council election.

Meet at the Congregational Hall at 6pm and finish up around 7:30pm. Everyone will go in teams so please join us even if this is your first experience campaigning.
