Now through July 5, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) is accepting "scoping" comments from the public about SSEP via docket PF24-2-000, to help FERC determine what should be included in their environmental assessment of the pipeline.

An in-person scoping meeting, hosted by FERC will be on June 24, from 5-7pm at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites, 351 Vineyards Crossing, Lexington, NC 27295.

This is an important opportunity to give public input about the waterways, soil, farmland, heritage sites etc. that you are concerned about.
