Join your friendly neighborhood LI Queer Caucus as we meet outdoors to paint signs and banners, make buttons, and create LGBTQIA-positive political art in advance of the Queer Liberation March in NYC (https://actionnetwork.org/events/nyc-dsa-queer-caucus-at-the-2021-queer-liberation-march/).

Feel free to bring any art supplies (poster board, markers, theme-appropriate stickers, glue, glitter, paint and brushes, etc) to share.

Refreshments will be provided.

All ages welcome! This is an intergenerational event in a pet-friendly private home. (Small dogs and indoor/outdoor cats).

Accessibility: The sign making is an outdoor event in a backyard. That space is wheelchair accessible, however the bathroom indoors does not have handrails and there are a few steps leading up to both the front door and rear kitchen entrance. If you require any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact organizers with your specific needs.

Mask use encouraged, particularly if you are unvaccinated. Hand sanitizer will be available.
