Thursday, May 26th at 5pm PT/ 8pm ET:

Join Wisconsin's Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes for a discussion on labor and voting in the state and how they intersect. Come learn about why Wisconsin needs to be engaging voters of color in the state and what you can do to help get out the vote.

Mandela Barnes serves as Wisconsin's 45th Lieutenant Governor. He was elected on November 8, 2018. He is the first African American to serve as a Lieutenant Governor in Wisconsin, and the second African American to ever hold statewide office.  Within his current role, Lt. Gov. Barnes serves as the Chair of the Governor's Task Force on Climate Change and also serves on the Governor's Health Equity Council, Wisconsin Criminal Justice Coordinating Council, Wisconsin Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women Task Force, Governor's Council on Financial Literacy and Capability, and the statewide 2020 Census Complete Count Committee. Learn more about Lt. Governor Barnes here.

This is part of an ongoing series, "Road to the Midterms: Looking Forward and Federal," where we will be joined by members of Congress, voting rights activist and state leaders for in-depth discussions on important pro-democracy legislation and efforts that you can help support as we gear up for the 2022 midterm elections.
