Los Angeles Workers' Memorial Day 2018

Join us on Wednesday, April 25th @ 8:30am on the South Steps of Los Angeles City Hall for a press conference and action to remember workers who have been injured and killed on the job and renew the fight to strengthen health & safety protections.

We will call on Mayor Eric Garcetti to set a precedent for workplace health & safety in Los Angeles, by holding companies operating at the Port of Los Angeles accountable to improving working conditions, and ending wage theft & job misclassification.  

This event is organized alongside IDEPSCA, LA County Federation of Labor, LAANE, UCLA-LOSH, Warehouse Worker Resource Center (WWRC), and the Our People Our Port coalition.
