FEATURING the moving ARTivism of Clare Wilkening and her Orca Tile project. • Learn about our neighbours, the Southern Resident Orcas, and what we can do to help them thrive. • Celebrate Mother Earth and the incredible resilience of these matrilineal creatures on Mother’s Day weekend with the women-led Active Hope Project! • Make your own clay fired pinch pot. • Explore Active Hope: the hope that arises through effective & collective action.
It’s not a coincidence that we chose the Mother’s Day weekend for a sneak preview of our Active Hope Project short film: Whales Forever.
We are born of the earth.
What does it mean to love our mother?
Can we extend our love to ‘the other’?
To all life, including the Southern Resident Orcas, who are facing a rapid descent into extinction, with only 73 individuals remaining?

Join us for a very special evening of art, pottery, meditation and exploration of Active Hope, and what we can and must do to embody it so that we and all our relations can thrive.

By donation, with proceeds to our Active Hope Project which amplifies the voices and projects of youth like Clare Wilkening, who apply their skills and passion to move people to action.
