Why go to Boston when you can have an impact in your home city? Lynn is our district's largest and most diverse city. It is also on the front lines of what the #ClimateCrisis will do. So far this event is the only Climate Strike event scheduled for 9/20 in Lynn. The Massachusetts Teacher's Association has endorsed the Climate Strike (https://massteacher.org/current-initiatives/youth-climate-strike?fbclid=IwAR1mtfue_nSvdj8s53cUs70dE2EJb1hIOkUtIj8HSQ8O8HGLJSfR2oUPRHE) but what good is striking without leading to actionable solutions? Join us for a Climate Strike Lunch. Learn about what is at stake and about actionable solutions for slowing down, maybe even stopping, the climate crisis. If you're a Lynn school student skipping school for this event, bring your school ID and lunch is on us. Everyone, however, is welcome and encouraged to take part in this event and become part of the solution.
