For this Mutual Aid Book Club series, we are reading and discussing two articles by the Indigenous Anarchist Federation: Zapatista Governance, Leadership, Community, and Decision Making Principles and A Zapatista Response to "The EZLN Is NOT Anarchist". We will also be discussing the documentary Frantz Fanon: Black Skin, White Mask (available on Kanopy.) This is not a class, we emphasize dialogue and discussion, as such each meeting will be informal and focus on contributions from those attending, and folks of all levels of involvement are encouraged to join! We also try to make sure to ground our discussions in the organizing work that we’re doing on the ground, so discussions can hopefully be accessible to everyone even if one falls behind on the reading.
