Aloha and Mahalo for taking action! We are excited to STRIKE with you for the climate on Fri., Sept 20. Join Maui's climate defenders including students, workers, keiki, and kupuna to send a message to our community and our elected leaders that we need to URGENTLY address the climate crisis and protect our island, our oceans, and our people from the devastating consequences of the climate crisis.

9am -1pm: Strike at the Maui County Building at 200 S. High, Wailuku

4:00-6:30pm: Rally at UHMC campus and sign-waving on Ka'ahumanu in front of the college.

A sign-making party is planned on UHMC Campus Wed., Sept 18. from 4-6pm in the UNMC Library, Conf Room 2.

Our demands:

• Demand that Maui County declares a Climate Emergency
• Demand that Maui County creates a Climate Action Plan
• Demand that Maui County installs an Office of Climate Change, Sustainability, and Resilience
• Demand that Maui County commits to 100% renewable energy by 2030
