Join us for our May Unlearning Circle:

Activism vs. Organizing – Individual vs. Collective Power

Saturday, 5/13/2023 from 10am-noon CST

Please join us on zoom, May 13, from 10am-12:00 for our Unlearning Circle

As we move back into unlearning circles this year, we wanted to lean into our roots as a group committed to organizing to undo racism with grounding in organizing principles from both the People’s Institute for Survival and Beyond (PISAB) and Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ). For the next three months, we will collectively engage with these principles and how they shape us as individuals and collectively inform our organizing to undo racism in all the communities we’re a part of.

Join us on May 13 for the third circle in this series. We will dive into the nuance between activism and organizing and reflect on how we can divest from the individualism white supremacy culture teaches us and move into building collective power to undo racism.

Although this is a series, the sessions are not mutually exclusive so please join us if you did not attend the March and/or April ULCs.
