*NOTE: Time of event subject to change.* The Kern County Coalition will sponsor a block walk for immigration reform and target Kevin McCarthy's voters, from 9am-2:00pm. The ask will be to sign a commitment card to support citizenship and also register new voters. There will be a press event in the morning at 10am to kick off the walk at McCarthy's district office. The San Jose, Fresno, Modesto and LA citizenship coalitions will be sending delegations of people to support this large block walk and press conference. The coalition is also brain storming what visual we can leave behind for McCarthy, such as a large blow up poster of his face with a message. We also are looking at taking out a half page in the local newspaper with a message to McCarthy.
