Please join us for a Queer Section members picnic at Kalorama Park on Saturday, July 24th 11:00AM - 2:30PM! Come down to the picnic table area to enjoy good food and (hopefully) beautiful weather, while reconnecting or meeting new Comrades in the DMV. Feel free to bring a friend. Food / beverages: We will have a grill to cook hot dogs and vegetarian food. Folks are absolutely NOT required to, but if you are able and willing to bring something to share (food to grill, snacks, beverages, etc.) please message Nate H on Slack to coordinate. Transportation: Woodley Park/Adams Morgan is the closest Metro station to Kalorama park and is an approximately 15 minute walk. There are several bus lines (L2, 42, 43, 90, 96) with stops nearby that crisscross the neighborhood. Accessibility: Kalorama Park is ADA accessible. Please note, due to COVID-19 restrictions the rec center and public restrooms are closed.
