Hosted by Ben Day and Gillian Mason and produced by a team of volunteers, the pod covers healthcare news, organizing campaigns for healthcare justice, pop culture, and more! Long story short, we’re the funniest non-comedy bi-weekly healthcare podcast out there, and we’re looking to build our audience by expanding our volunteer team!

Right now, we’re looking for volunteers to fill several different key roles:

• Researchers: Pitch ideas for future episodes, research healthcare topics, and develop outlines for our upcoming episodes. No formal research experience necessary as long as you are skilled with a search engine, are able to identify legitimate sources, and have a curious mind!
• Guest Outreach: Make connections with folks we might like to feature on the show. You’ll need excellent communication skills and a healthy amount of confidence in talking to strangers.
• Public Relations: Publicize the podcast on social media and help to grow our listener base. You’ll need a solid understanding of social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter (X), and Instagram.
• Video Shorts Producer: Using clips from the video livestream of our show, assemble and edit short videos for TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram. Again, no formal training required, as long as you have experience with social media platforms.
