At this Speak Out event, attendants on Zoom will watch the physical delivery of hundreds of signatures from students demanding that Yale (1) provide mental healthcare within two weeks, (2) hire therapists who share important aspects of our backgrounds, and (3) eliminate the Student Income Contribution fully.

Then, students, alumni, and concerned allies will have the chance to speak out about experiences with Yale's inadequate mental healthcare or with navigating mental illness at Yale. We will listen to each other and demand care for ourselves and our peers.

Joining us will be speakers in solidarity from: Local 33, Local 34, New Haven Rising, Disability Empowerment for Yale, Elis for Rachael, Yale Young Democratic Socialists of America, and Mental Health Justice at Yale.
