Our first event in 2021 will be a social on Wednesday 13th January from 7.30pm to 9pm where we'll be discussing the idea of a Universal Basic Income (UBI).

UBI is an idea which has huge relevance at the moment with the COVID-19 pandemic affecting many people's jobs and living standards.

We'll be joined by economist Laura Bannister, Green Party candidate in the 2015 and 2017 general elections and co-founder of the not-for-profit organisation World Basic Income.

After Laura's talk we'll be having an informal social. Please do stick around for a chat with like-minded Greens!
