Hi all - I am changing the time and location of this event to align with a canvassing event sponsored by Deb Calvert, candidate for one of Minnetonka's at-large city council seats.

This event has two objectives. Educate Minnetonka voters on Erik Paulsen's voting record and educate voters on the upcoming City of Minnetonka elections - City Council and Mayor. In particular I am canvassing for Deb Calvert for City Council. The area we are canvassing is just west of the Ridgedale Byerly's and Target in Minnetonka.

Studies show that getting voters to “commit” in advance can meaningfully increase turnout, so this summer Swing Left volunteers across the country will be going out into their target Swing Districts to talk to voters, identify supporters and ask them to commit to vote in 2018.

If you have never canvassed before, this is an easy way to get started!

I'll have all the materials and a quick 'training' session before we head out. Swing Left has online training also. It's really easy and people are very nice when you talk with them.
