The Sept 8 MARCH of MONMOUTH COUNTY for CLEAN ENERGY, for residents of central Jersey, is part of Peoples Climate March - Rise for Climate, Jobs, and Justice. We convene at Riverside Gardens Park, 40 West Front Street, Red Bank at 10AM. We want a 100% clean energy economy, family-sustaining jobs, economic justice and access to clean air and water for all. The local march will follow a designated, short route along Red Bank sidewalks to a family-friendly rally at Marine Park, end of Wharf Ave., off East Front Street. At the rally, 9 inspirational speakers (5 minutes, each) and 10 tables of exhibits will describe steps individuals can take to enhance the international push to make clean energy a reality. See and learn about 8 latest plug-in electric cars (This is day 1 of "National Drive Electric Week"). The rally concludes at noon.
