On May 22nd the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) will be voting on highway expansion in the regional measure. This is our last opportunity to say “NO HIGHWAYS”.  Several commissioners are on record advocating for no restrictions on funds generated by SB 1031, paving the way for highway expansion. Any highway expansion undermines our climate goals and transit investments; road expenditures must be limited to state of good repair and safe and complete streets.
