Aaron Dixon is a founding member of the Seattle Chapter of the Black Panther Party. His book recounts his experience establishing the Panthers in Seattle, including food and medical services–Seattle Roots Community Health is the current incarnation of the medical clinic established by the Panthers.

Come to this event to hear the experience of building mutual aid infrastructure and other necessary steps in resisting repression. Copies of Aaron's Book, My People Are Rising, will be available for purchase.
