National Action Day - help elect Adrian Ramsay our next Green MP
Start: Saturday, May 27, 2023•10:00 AM
End: Saturday, May 27, 2023• 6:00 PM

Now that Mid Suffolk Council is the first in Europe with Green Party majority control, there has never been a better time to help us elect Adrian Ramsay our next MP.
Stunning election results for the Green Party here means that in the Waveney Valley constituency that co-leader Adrian Ramsay is targeting to win, we now have 12 Green councillors, one more than our main rival the Conservatives. Our vote share in the local elections across the constituency was 43% compared to just 34% for Conservatives. Your help, whether for a full day or just a few hours, will be a major contribution to getting our co-leader elected as the first Green MP in the East.
You can come for all day or just the morning or afternoon. Full training will be given and beginners will be accompanied.
We will be meeting in Diss at 10am at the United Reformed Church.
10 - 11am: Have some coffee, get a welcome from our co-leader Adrian Ramsay, meet like minded people, and get a briefing on how to door-knock before we set out.
11 - 1pm: We'll head out for leafleting and door-knocking (beginners will be able to go with an experienced door-knocker).
1 - 2pm: We meet back at the United Reform Church for a vegan lunch (provided).
2- 4pm: We'll head out for our second round of campaigning.
4 - 4.30: Unwind, relax and debrief with a cuppa before the public talk.
4.30 - 5.30pm: Public talk by Rupert Read and Adrian Ramsay at the URC.
