Nebraska Poor People's Campaign is hosting an open meeting and you're invited!!!! We are in the midst of 40 weeks of Action that launched in February and will continue through Election Day in November.

Did you know that there are 541,359 poor and low-income eligible voters who make up 36.6%. These voters infrequently vote because politicians refuse to listen to the cries of the poor in our communities. We call these infrequent voters a sleeping giant. And what our studies have shown is that if we can Wake the Sleeping Giant, we have the potential to change every election up and down the ballot.

We are launching an historic voter mobilization drive this year to prove to the politicians and political parties that we will not be ignored as nearly 800 poor people a day are murdered by policy decisions in Lincoln, in state capitols across the country, and in Washington, DC.
