Thanks to collaboration between our community, the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT), and Oregon State Rep. Khanh Pham, we have a lot of new traffic safety improvements in House District 46! Bring your friends and family and come celebrate with refreshments, games, and information about how we’re making our neighborhood safer to move about!

Significant road safety projects have been completed, are under construction, or are coming soon in the Jade District, Montavilla, Lents, Tabor, Errol Heights, Foster-Powell, and Brentwood-Darlington neighborhoods. This includes critical safety improvements to 11 crosswalks, several speed cushions, and speed reader boards near schools, parks, and other key crossings thanks to federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds allocated to this legislative district and secured by Rep. Khanh Pham. Other projects include the Brentwood-Darlington Multimodal Improvements project currently under construction, the recently completed 70s Greenway, and upcoming projects including the significant improvements to 82nd Ave and the 60s Greenway.

These are investments we want in our city and state. They make our streets safer for everyone - including students, elders, people with disabilities - whether they are walking, biking, rolling, or driving. Join us to uplift these investments in our transportation future that our community wants and needs!
