Hosting a summer supporting event can ensure people in your community are aware that there will be a Basic Income March in their city and it gives you the chance to get them excited about it! Past Basic Income March organizers suggested this as a way to promote their events.

A supporting event can look like many things: tabling, a visit to your local park with literature, a pub crawl, a cookout or any other creative way you can think to get the word out. Income Movement will provide any printed materials, buttons and stickers needed for your event. A summer supporting event should be a light lift.
