Host Guidelines - Protect California's Food Day of Action

Hosting a local action is an important way to make sure our voices are heard on this issue all across the state. The Rootskeeper team will be available to support you in putting together a successful event, which can be as simple or complex as makes sense for you. By stepping forward to host an event, you must agree to:
* have a strong desire to stop irrigation of our food supply with oil drilling wastewater!
* have a willingness to reach out and connect with others in their community who feel similarly.
* commit to joining at least one of our host prep calls (or talk one-to-one with an organizer if the timing of the calls doesn't work for you).

Okay!
The shorter and more descriptive, the better.
Virtual events do not require a location, but virtual events with a location will appear on the event campaign map. (Those without a location will appear in search results only.) At least a ZIP/postal code is required for map placement for virtual events.
Select the timezone in which your event will take place.
Add Banner Image (optional)

Upload an image or banner below. Your image should be 1500px wide by any height (600px is suggested). It will be scaled to a final size of 750px wide.

Okay!
This is shown to people before they RSVP. Let them know what the event will be like and why they should attend.
