Even a handful of people coming together in your community can help send a powerful message to state legislators. Just follow the steps below to post your event. Once you've posted your event, feel free to email Caroline Wooten at caroline.wooten@sierraclub.org who can answer any questions and provide tips on how to make your event a success.

TITLE: Name of your event, including the city where it will be held (e.g. “Peoria: Green Light Clean Energy Movie Screening”)

TIME AND DATE: Choose a date during the week of March 23. For weekday events, we suggest evenings after 6:00 p.m.

LOCATION: We suggest a public location for best visibility and attendance. You might consider gathering at your library, a place of worship, community building, or coffee shop. IMPORTANT: PLEASE USE AN ACTUAL STREET ADDRESS TO ENSURE YOUR EVENT DISPLAYS CORRECTLY ON THE MAP.

Okay!
The shorter and more descriptive, the better.
Virtual events do not require a location, but virtual events with a location will appear on the event campaign map. (Those without a location will appear in search results only.) At least a ZIP/postal code is required for map placement for virtual events.
Select the timezone in which your event will take place.
Add Banner Image (optional)

Upload an image or banner below. Your image should be 1500px wide by any height (600px is suggested). It will be scaled to a final size of 750px wide.

Okay!
This is shown to people before they RSVP. Let them know what the event will be like and why they should attend.
