Here is a sample description to use for your event:

Costco is the third largest retailer in the US and it also has a credit card partnership with Citi, the world’s second largest funder of fossil fuels. We want Costco to demand Citi stop financing fossil fuel expansion––or else switch to a cleaner credit card.

Join us on [event date and time] at [event location] to ask Costco members to sign our petition urging Costco to cut ties with Citi.
