Read Nelini Stamp's Occupation Guide, and then take a look at the SPLC map to find the nearest Confederate monument or other symbol of hate that needs to be removed. On Thursday, August 24th, we will commence a nationwide occupation against white supremacy from the White House to state houses, town squares and public spaces across the country. We will not stop until all public symbols of hate are removed.

In order to post your event, you need to read the entire Occupation Guide first, then we strongly recommend gathering your local organizers together prior to posting your event. Be sure to reach out to a diverse range of partners throughout the community and be sure that no one else has already posted a local event. If there is one already within a 25 mile radius, we recommend working in solidarity together so that your action will be successful and have the necessary resources. Be sure to establish principles or guidelines (see the Resource section of the website for examples) prior to your action for maximum inclusiveness and success.
